Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be delighted with your purchase from Corrib Candles. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

1. Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)

Under Irish and EU law, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your items. To cancel your order within this period, simply contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp. You will then have 14 days to return the items to us.

2. Returns of Personalised Candles

Personalised and custom-made items are normally exempt from the cooling-off period. However, because we can remelt and reuse the wax, we do accept returns on personalised candles, provided:

  • the candle is returned within the 14-day cooling-off period, and
  • the personalised print or decorative surface cannot be altered after production.
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

3. Returning Non-Personalised Items

Non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. They must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in their original packaging. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us straight away. We may ask for a photo of the issue so we can resolve it quickly. If the item is confirmed faulty, we will:

  • cover the full cost of return postage, and
  • offer a replacement or full refund (your choice).

5. How Returns Are Processed (An Post)

All returns are handled through the Shopify returns portal.

  1. Contact us to request a return.
  2. We will issue you an An Post return label through the portal.
  3. Print the label and bring the parcel to your local post office.

6. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of your refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days. Original delivery charges are refunded only for cancelled (cooling-off) orders, not for change-of-mind returns on personalised items.
